When someone asks you to quote your favorite Scripture verses, what immediately comes to mind?
Here are two of mine:
"Greater love has no man than this, that he would lay down his life for a friend" (John 15:13)
"The Lord is the shade at your right hand. The sun will not strike you by day, nor the moon by night." (Psalm 121:3).
So what are your favorites--without looking them up....
Go ahead, feel free to share them here

I have too many to list, but here's one of them:
Galatians 5:1 (NAS) "It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore, keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery."
Same verse from The Message:"Christ has set us free to live a free life. So take your stand! Never again let anyone put a harness of slavery on you."
Now, THAT'S what I'm talking about!
When I was 29 years old, I lay in a hospital bed, deaths door behind me, recovery in sight, and my dad asked me, "Son, what is your favorite Bible verse?" He was going to read it to me. I thought and decided that it must be Isaiah, Chapter 40. I especially love the verse that says, "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."
