A few hours ago, Elizabeth Edwards, wife of Senator and Vice-Presidential hopeful John Edwards (D-NC) was diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
After the narrow defeat of Senators Kerry and Edwards for the President and Vice President slots, respectively, this must be some shocking and upsetting news for both the Edwards and the Kerry families.
As a Christian, I am asking any and all who read this blog to remember Mrs Edwards in your prayers to the Lord.
May the grace of Christ be with her, her husband, her children, and others with whom she is closest in this time of great need.
